The tomato is the edible, often red, berry of the plant Solanum lycopersicum, commonly known as a tomato plant. The Nahuatl (Aztec language) word tomatl gave rise to the Spanish word tomate, from which the English word tomato derived. Zucchini is a year-old, crawling plant whose leaves are heart-shaped, broad-bodied, and covered with tiny fluff. It has yellow flowers and the male and female flowers are on a pedestal.

Eggplant should be fully ripe, as premature eggplant has little toxic substance. Always try to choose eggplant that is low in egg and has a sweet taste. To buy eggplants go for plump, heavy, tall and stretchy eggplants with shiny, firm skin and no crunching effects as they are more delicious.
